Music Line-UP

With numerous bands and 18 albums under his belt, LONNIE HAMMER’s drive, determination, and undeniable talent have earned him a notable cachet within the music industry. During his illustrious career the popular drummer/singer/songwriter has been a member and recording artist with the legendary rock band BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, in addition to EVERY MOTHER’S NIGHTMARE, and playing for JACK RUSSELL’S GREAT WHITE. Never one to rest on his laurels and always with a few surprises up his sleeve, in 2017 HAMMER followed his desire and created HAMMER DOWN HARD with assistance from his manager and business partner KIM ALLEGREZZA (THE ALLEGREZZA AGENCY).

Recording at CROSSTRAX STUDIO in Memphis, TN, LONNIE HAMMER along with Producer and co-writer JUSTIN RIMER (SAVING ABEL, 12 STONES, FULL DEVIL JACKET) pushed deep into creative realms and branched out into new territory both musically and lyrically. Seizing on tangible emotions and the gnawing hypocrisy of everyday life HAMMER DOWN HARD brings forth honest songs, powerful vocals and fury you can feel. With a formidable explosion of energy and enthusiasm HAMMER surprised the hard rock/metal music world when he stepped out from behind the drum kit to front of the stage as lead vocalist for the band. HAMMER plays drums on all his recordings.

There’s something uniquely fun about Amy LaVere, even when she’s breaking your heart.

She is well known among songwriters and critics alike. NPR’s Robert Siegel says she “specializes in lyrics that are more barbed than her sweet soprano prepares you for.” Her growing catalogue of material and steady critical acclaim suggest a first-tier presence on the Americana and indie-folk/punk circuits. Her latest album Painting Blue comes out August 16th on Nine Mile Records (Glorietta, David Wax Museum, Carson McHone, Patrick Sweany, Greyhounds).

Amy’s live performances are anything but predictable. She might appear on stage with a full band, sporting a mask and pink wig, or simply be a natural in blue jeans and sandals, but her upright bass and clever song delivery are constants. Her voice is at once the bully and the victim. She’s performed in venues as wide-ranging as St. Andrew’s Hall in London and Memphis’ famed dive bar Earnestine and Hazel’s. There’s no room she can’t find an audience in and charm it to pieces.

Al is an Oscar-winning hip hop artist from Memphis who has gained mainstream success from many years of hard work beginning in the Memphis music community. Al Kapone wrote “COVID Blues” and “Hustle Up” shortly after the quarantine began a few months ago. But as time progressed, Kapone, 48, wasn’t sure the songs would fit his new album, Hip Hop Blues, which he will release June 24th.
He’s using “AK Bailey” as his name on the album. “With the blues project, I’m trying to carve out a different brand.” Kapone, whose real name is “Al Bailey,” is going back to his roots, in a way.

Raised on the road by the legendary rock band Black Oak Arkansas, learning the art of Rock from the purest source. Christopher Lee Crowther set out to put together a group who’s music embodies soul, funk, and blues with a hard rock edge and a message of empowerment through struggle, a true reflection of our Memphis roots. A chance encounter with an old friend and funkster, bass player Vino Thomas, sparked the flame and the addition of heavy hitting drummer Hype Jones Jr. laid the foundation for The Electrick Nobody to be born. Now in their second decade The Electrick Nobody have rounded out their sound with the addition of soulful lead vocalist Rico Rodrique and the smokin’ hot lead guitar stylings of Josh Jennings. The five are hitting the studio and the road in 2021.

FeverTree is a Memphis-based rock band that pulls heavily from their Southern roots. They put forth a powerful and soulful mix of Southern Rock, Blues, Funk and nitty-gritty rock-and-roll. The band was formed in 2014 by Tim Dills, John Patterson, Mike Bertoldo, and Kyle Reed. With over 50 years of combined experience in the Memphis music industry scene among its members, FeverTree has evolved into a band that describes its music as “uniquely blended, finely crafted, Southern rock and roll.”

Following four years playing cover tunes, the band, realized that its true calling was to create original music. Pulling from influences such as Van Halen, Journey, Hendrix, The Allman Brothers, Arc Angels, and Skynyrd, the band began composing their tunes. One year later and after countless hours of laughing, fighting, severe A.D.D., and good bourbon, the debut album was finally complete. Aptly titled Lessons Learned, the band proudly released the album in January of 2019. The album is composed of soulful, blues-influenced Southern rock; a true reflection of the band’s combined influences.

Late 2019 brought changes. The band found itself in need of a new bass player. Semi-local bassist Rocko Walls was first introduced to the band via another local band, The Shotgunbillys. Rocko had travelled to Memphis from Kennett, Missouri to fill in for the band’s regular bassist on a number of occasions. The FeverTree guys took notice of his playing and invited him to come down to Memphis and jam. One time is all it took for the guys to realize what a perfect fit he was both musically and personally and so, FeverTree, Chapter 2 had begun.

The band began rehearsing immediately for live shows but 2020 took its toll, as it did for everyone. So it was decided that instead of waiting on life to return to normal and resume live gigs, a new record would be written. FeverTree was back in the studio in June of 2021 with 11 new kick ass, Southern Rock, Blues-Nitty-Gritty, Rock and Roll songs, with a few new twists!! The new, yet untitled album is scheduled to be released later in 2021 for everyone to hear!!

The Muttz was a concept in which many different styles of music I’d written but never recorded could come to life by finding talented people who were exceptional in their certain genre of music, and by combining their different styles… and we end up with a band who can pull off Southern Rock, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Country, Gospel, Hard Rock, Metal, Rhythm and Blues, Folk and just about any other rabbit that we decide to pull outta the hat! Sometimes it’ll be two guys… sometimes a mixture of a dozen, but that’s what a Mutt really is… a little bit of Shepherd, a smidgen of Terrier, a pinch of Poodle and a handful of Pit Bull! No pedigree, no blue ribbons… but creatures of loyalty, endurance
and an amazing variety of skills!
Original tunes and  new arrangements  of old classics… done by… THE MUTTZ!!
Let the party begin!
