“Kudos to all who participate in giving of themselves, their time, and their talent to help children they’ve never met. Life offers many paths to contribute, seek redemption or just help tilt the axis away from tragedy and back toward joyousness. The selfless work done by all on behalf of innocents who must stare down the bleak reality of cancer is worthy of praise, encouragement, and support” – Eric Fuller, Forbes
Tremendous thanks to all who participated, donated, sponsored, worked, or volunteered at the event.
Huge THANK YOU to Frank Chin for the terrific photos!

This year marks the 21st year of the WCHWCF, previously known as the Southern Hotwing Festival, and attracts international teams from Canada, Costa Rica, South Africa, and other parts of the world. Whether you like your wings grilled, smoked or fried, with seasonings that range from sweet to savory to exotic, there’s sure to be something for everyone.
Festival-goers will not only have a fun time sampling the competition’s fare, they will also have “something to crow about” as they will be making a contribution to The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis (RMH).
We hope the public will help us assist the families and children who live at the facility, at no cost, after treatment from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This mission allows the families to focus on helping their children survive and thrive.
For more than 20 years, the World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival ® has been cooking up the best wings in the land – all to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis. With international teams, a World Wing Cup Series, and more additions
Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis offers children with pediatric cancer and other catastrophic illnesses undergoing treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®,; a nurturing, family-centered residential community. The House fosters an environment of hope through support services and child-centered activities that encourage children to be children near the care they need, always free of charge.
The World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival has been bringing the people of Memphis world-class hot wings and fun for more than 18 years. Teams compete while giving samples to attendees in return for donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Memphis.
