24TH Annual World Championship Hot Wing Contest & Festival

In 2002 the Southern Hot Wing Festival was created and seven teams showed up at a popular lounge and parking lot to see who can cook the best hot wing. 24 years later the Southern Hot Wing Festival morphed into the World Championship Hot Wing Contest and Festival with over 60 teams competing for cash prizes, the coveted World Championship trophy, and bragging rights as best hot wing in the world.

Memphis TN. known as the Wing Capital of the World offers to attendees a chance to sample wings from all teams for a donation, as well as groove to the Memphis sound of Blues, Soul, and Rock and Roll. The festival also offers a parade and wing eating contest. This world class festival is a benefit for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis.
